Default Fly Eagle Jet A-10 1/6.25 Build

Just order myself the Fly Eagle Jet A-10 1/6.5 scale Honeycomb + Carbon Fiber Material version. I should have it in about 8 weeks or so.

1. Operating canopy
2. Leading edge slats
3. Turbo fan kit
4. Cockpit detail w/o pilot
5. Pro-extra work done for gear, gear doors, fuel tanks, air brake door to be installed and glue clear canopy, ailerons, flaps and rudder

I am thinking of running the Kingtech K-80 or K-140F wait see what the dry weight of it first.

I can’t wait to build it either. I am still deceiding on what servos to run yet for the power system I will use the Power Box Royal with 2x Fromeco 5200 Relion packs a Airpower Five Action Super Multi-function Valve - EVO / ST with EVO - Super Multi-function Valve Landing Lights and Airpower Dual Action Valve - Retract / Gear Door valve for the canopy…

Damo

Mine flies real easy on a pair of P120's. Original version that came out at 26 kg. Powerbox Royal, 2 x 6014 Futaba rx, HS7955TGs in wings, JR 8911's on elevators.

Don't stress, yours will be heaps lighter. There is a 1.2 kg difference in just the bare wings themselves between my version and yours!! The K80's will fly it fine, however if you ever want to load up with full ordinace and go vertical you will need a bit more.

That is big difference. That what I was thinking running a full set of ordinace so I will need bit more power.

You got any pic of your??

Your call but these control surfaces are huge. Ailerons would probably be ok unless you have decelerons, but the flap linkage system does not offer allot of leverage. Elevators again probably ok but in reality why not spend the extra $ 50 each and go to 8911s. The pilots not going to help when you get a flap blow back or a servo collapse.

The other thing to keep in mind is the power distribution, when one of these is on a hot final on a windy day with all 4 flaps hanging, 2 ailerons having big movements and a couple of rudder servo's swinging left right trying to keep the tail lined up you will be sucking a few amps. I run the Powerbox Royal RRS (twin rx because my plane was over 25 kg - Aus rules) with a pair of 2200 mah lipo's feeding it.

That’s cool I thought I would ask because I had 4 new ones here. I will order some 8911s and I was going to run twin rx with the Powerbox Royal…
