Default P-100RX....who's a lucky boy!

Xmas again! The PKZ Spitfires arrived and then Mr UPS with a P-100RX. The Global JetClub Mig15 was crying out for this engine, so I made a begging request to get a pre release unit as soon as JC had one, the Mig is due to be flown at JP and they have made it possible.
Unit comes with a 3s Li-Fe pack and bus fuel pump, single lead and tube connection should help with a super fast install.

Very happy Dave

Just in time? There's only 10 days to go to JP. Some midnight oil to be burned!

These damn things are like buses, You wait all year for one then 2 come at once...

I visited Al's Hobbies and Motors & Rotors today and both of them received P100's this morning. Now these guys are supposed to be model shops but neither would sell me theirs !! [:@]

Still I bet I'm the first person.......in the world...... to have seen two different P100's today Engine looks sweet - although the box looks a bit empty - small engine, no separate valves.

Would it be possible to bring one for me on Friday Al? It's for that customer build... It was all ordered ages ago but of course I don't know where he is on the list, but on the off chance I thought I'd ask

Those that haven't spotted it, the case has a machined ridge around the centre for the motor mount to locate in. With no external temp probe it is easy to install/remove.

I really like the design they are going with only one fuel like and its pretty cool how there smoke pump plugs into the fuel pump. Will all the jetcat turbines go to this design?

Test bench.... Whats a Test Bench? Is that like a model with no wings on it? My P100 goes into a plane tomorrow. Just two projects for jet power to get done tonight ( almost there ) and then its onto the P100.

Kenrico,
I really dont know of any of the modern turbines that require running on a test bench any more. The JC's especially. Running them for the first time is such a non event that its literally just plug and play. Good luck with your third CAT. I am sure it will run just as the other two do.
Dennis.

I have a customer who ordered a P-100RX to go in a Bandit ARF, FYI the P-70 mount works wih just a tiny mod.

Also the stock mount provided is approx 130mm (5 3/16") across the mounting holes
