Hey Guys,
I had the privledge of seeing the Super Bandit fly this past Sunday. All I can say is Awesome! Bob put about four or five flights on it and the SB is one sweeeeeeet machine! Looks like BV has another major winner in his line up. You guys are gonna love this bird!

Wonder if it really is going to ship in May / June ....
If so, I have only a month and a half to finish 3 other aircraft in order to have my bench clear when my Super Bandit arrives. Perhaps I should give up sleep... or annoy my boss enough to get fired so that I have more free time to build...

Hey Gordon, If you want I can call your boss and have you fired easily. I also would like you to finish your SB and mine ASAP!!
I am not so clear on WHY is the SB better than the regular Bandit when it comes to flying unless they changed airfoil, coupling, wing/tail area and CG!!! I CAN understand the knife edge thu since my swept fin Bandit has a difficult time doing a GOOD knife edge(It could be my fingers too if you saw my landings!!!)
Regards, Ehab.

The taller fuselage adds side area making more lift in knife edge flight. It also changes the couple required as a result. It's not as though the Bandit required a LOT of mixing.. but according to David.. the new one requires none.

Hey Todd,
Whats this P120 stuff? By the time Matt gets his, he'll be sporting the p160.
Ehab- Not enough rudder...... and your fingers
Matt, yours was fast- it just doesn't look that way when your flying it. I think it has to do with being so dialed in on it with the eyes.
Gordon,
So I was told today when I talked to Patty- shipping in June that is. Did I mention that I want to buy your spot? I put my name on the list for a third today- don't tell my wife.
Doug, mine has no mixing and knife's great.

Hi guys
With the new nosegear unit (retro fit to older bandit as well) and the use of the balsa bandit mains, Bob was right on target.
And the fact that the intake cowls are part of the fuse this will cut building and finish time down quite a bit. Not to mention the extra room in the fuse for all our gear.
I also like the new hinges that are like the type used in the F100.
I have hinged up four F100 wings with this system and I can tell you there is no better way to hinge a control surface.
I think the F4 will also have this type of hinge in the near future if what dave told me was correct.
talk to you soon

Chris H;
If you do not teach me how to knife edge w/o mixing on the Bandit, I am telling your wife about you ordering yet another BVM plane
I think the SB will benefit from the advertised increased fuel capacity and the Blasa Bandit retracts!!! Other than that, the original Bandit can not be surpassed...yet!!

Allright Ehab, knife edge class begins this Sunday! I tried to show her the proto pics on the website this morning and all she said was "thats nice, you're not getting one".
A little advice to would be jet pilots out there- Never tell them how much this stuff costs!

BV also told me that they have changed the main gear doors as well, seperately molded I guess, he seemed very excited about the kit.
I wish I liked the look of the straight fin, I hear the knife much better, I really like the swept. I was also suprised to hear that most kits are being ordered as composite, seems to me all of the newer bandits showing up are balse, maybe the early adopters all go composite

Hi Chris
How Is your F100 coming??
I heard you were doing the thunderbird scheme
I know it flew in primer but I have not seen it in color.
Are you going to superman this year?

Didn't I tell you ? MY SB will get built as soon as it arrives, but YOUR one - well, that's way down the list, behind at least one more Bobcat XL and Jimmy's AD !

If you really do want my spot ... well, you know that these low numbers (I have spot # 6) are extremely valuable, dontcha ?? Do you perhaps have a really cute sister, or other such barganing chip ? ;-)
Seriously - if you want it - its all yours. I can wait.
Did you order the Balsa one with the conventional fin ?
Re not telling your wife... hmmm... how much of a discount did you say I was getting ? ;-)
