Free to good home - Jet A1 in Canberra
Hi Guys,
A mate of mine owns a hobby shop here in Canberra and he has just given me a call with a deal that is hard to go past. A contact at the Canberra airport has been in touch with him about some Jet A1 that has been de-fueled from an aircraft.
I'm yet to chase it up but it sounds like there are 16 x 200 litre drums up for grabs. All he wants is a $50 contribution to the social club Christmas party per drum. Okay...not quite free but pretty close to it.
I'll give him a call on Monday so, if anyone is up to grab one, please let me know so I can give him an indication of how many might go. We would need to coordinate collection from the storage depot as I'm not up to store 3200 litres in the garage.
