Default UAT help I think?

Guys any ideas would be appreciated. My bee II ks keeps flaming out. The plane has never flown. I checked for bubbles and have put new fuel lines in. Last two tries it stopped with the code speed low instead of flame out both times there was still a lot of smoke. One stop was at top rpms , the other was at idle with less smoke.. The flame outs produced a lot of smoke. . The one time I tried to bypass the Hanson UAT it run as usual. What in the UAT could be causing the problem? Could the bag be collapsing under suction? Any ideas? Or thought are welcomed! Or did I just get lucky on the one run. I noticed that UAT repalcement bags are availible but how do you know when it is time? This UAT is new Thanks
Glenn

For testing... just remove the UAT if you think that's the problem.

Try a hopper tank, fuel pickup in center of tank, no bag/filter.

Not being funny Glen but have you got the feed correct on the uat? It's easily done, don't ask me how I know!

if you're sucking air, you should be able to see the bubbles in the fuel lines to the pump and turbine.

That's a great suggestion.

Flameout with smoke is typically from sucking air..... check to see if you are getting bubbles in the fuel line feeding the engine while running. If so, find the source of the air....

Something I just thought about.... do you have any push together Festo fittings on the suction side? They are only meant for pressure.
