Experience comes from operating something, not from owning it. The guy that PMed you is an arse and needs to be slapped around a bit.

Although I agree that experience comes with stick time, this thread is just bullying plain and simple. As grown adults you should be ashamed of yourselves to have to stoop to this level, rather than just ignore posts/pm's that you don't agree with. This kind of behaviour should of been left in the school yard (for some of you many years ago). I can appreciate that Dennis can rub people up the wrong way, but bullying isn't the way to deal with anything in life.

It's not bullying, just overdue "come uppins" for someone who's been so arrogantly into so many folks' grills for a very long time.

KC is just tellin' it like it is and callin the man out on his nonsense.

Good on ya, KC.

When it's 20 against one it's bullying, so with respect I'll agree to disagree on that one HH. Oh and the word you were looking for was comeuppance

Duncan, 'Bullying' is typically just picking on the sick and the weak as 'bullies' generally don't have self esteem... Plums doesn't fall into that category and we're not bullies.

... What goes around, comes around... it's as simple as that.

Experience comes from trolling the internet. You can be the best at anything on the internet. logging many hours online and racking up your post count will undoubtly make you an expert at any field.

Funny how it's the latest group of Internet cowboys jumping on the lynching bandwagon too.....

Well said Scott.

At least 3, Dennis couldn't of voted without commenting too. It's just part of his charm.

Dennis says: ''I have over 130 RC Planes including 14 Turbine jets. So it is quite simple I know rather more than you my little friend.''

KC, I think you're confusing 'experience' with deep and complex psychological issues.
There's one accurate and funny piece in this soundtrack (1:50)... according to the posted pic earlier.

having that many airframes isn't a bad thing. It just means that they like to collect. It doesn't make them experienced or a good pilot. It doesn't make them a good modeler either. Just means they spent a ton of money on one of the worst "investments" possible.

I mean, I have been in hobby shops that didn't have that many planes still in the box on the shelves. Where would one store them? Does he have a warehouse? Oh yeah, this poll is one of the dumbest I have seen so far.

The funny (sad really) thing about "Little Stones" is that besides probably holding the record for being on "moderated status" more than any other jet enthusiast here...is that he will pick a fight with you...and when you have reet properly kicked his bollox up to his eye teeth (or tooth in his case) he always and without fail comes back with "well you Yanks lost the war in Vietnam".

Excuse me...but W*T*F does that have to do with anything?

LOL!

Beave

My Irish grandfather used to say that the reason the sun never set on the British Empire was that the Good Lord didn't trust them in the dark. He may have been correct.

We didn't loose. That wasn't a war... it was a police action... so it wasn't a win/loose situation. (my story, and I'm sticking to it)

I was told just now via PM that

''I have over 130 RC Planes including 14 Turbine jets. So it is quite simple I know rather more than you my little friend.''

Granted he's from the other side of the pond and i know things seam to work vastly different there then they do on this side, but i would still think experience came from bending the sticks, not buying models.........what say you folks? does Dennis's 4 yrs flying turbines make him the all mighty because he's got 130 airframes?????
Brilliant. I own a pen but it doesn't make me a talented author. Maybe if I owned 20 pens I would be.

We're all as full of crap as the next guy. Building and flying skills are different but some are talented enough to posses both. Flying skill only comes from raw talent or fuel burnt. Underestimated talent often is greater than ego fired self perception of talent.....
