Well,
not exactly 18 bucks.
http://www.harborfreight.com/catalog...q=fender+stand
2 different models it appears:
one is up to 200 lbs for $20
one is up to 500 lbs for $25
mine is the up to 500 lb and with tax and shipping from Harbour Freight is $33.54
I didnt pay tax or shipping at $37 bucks, so i paid a wopping $3.50 too much!!
But you probably have a rewards card there or something or coupon maybe to get it for $18!!
But thanks for making me feel like a fool for 3 bucks!!
Worth every penny!!
But mine was probably made in China and will inevitably crack from a poor weld and destroy my models. LOL!

You would only be a fool IMO if you cheated yourself out of having one of these stands just because you would not spend an extra 3 bucks. Truth be known, I have 5 from harbor freight and one from a body shop....that one cost me 50 bucks + tax....so you are in good company!

Scott,
Actually, I went to the local HB store about 6 months ago on a weekend special and got a 200# stand for $17.00 sale price and then they took off an additional 20% with a weekend coupon that was in the paper. Check for a local store and pick them up there. Also, when you go to check out, if you "forgot" your coupon at home, ask the clerk if they have an extra one you can use to get the additional 20%...they usually do.
Beave
PS. I have both the 500# and 200# stands. Both are quite sturdy for what we do so I started getting the 200# version because it was a little easier to stuff in the trailer.

Hey Vincent!! Whats up??!!
Hey Ron!! Yes, Im planning on getting most of my stuff down here in the next couple of weeks. Finally got settled in and ready to start flying some more. My first event in a while was Monster Planes and had a blast!
BTW, I found 200 acres yesterday just 60 miles north of me im making an offer on today. It just happens to be wide open, flat, no trees, runs north and south, longer than wide and tons of fly over. Not really sure what im going to do with it though! LOL!!!
Are you in Waco today?

I was in need of a stand soI went to my local Habor Frieght And it appears they no longer carry them next I thought a key board stand should fit the bill
andI looked some up on the web they start at $18.00 so I went to my local music store to check them out. I ended up with a delux double x model for
$45.00 and its perfect for my DV8R.

Well my $3 dollar, overpriced stand showed up today! 2 days after ordering. I didnt even have to get off my azz. That has to be worth $3 dollars!!! No gas spent!! No time wasted!!!
Smells like victory to me!!!
Darn thing is heavy and nice! Thought it might be lightweight and cheap, but even chain is heavy grade.
And Made in China!!!

Dependingon your needs, you mayfind the foam pipe insulation too thin& not enough cushion. Iswapped mine to those kids swimming pool foam noodles sold at Walmart, Menards, etc. You need to slice them tofit on the pipe. They work great & supportheavy jets with no worry of damage.

Funny....
OK... nothing on price here... but "Central Pneumatic" is the Harbor Freight brand. (is that what it says under the Fedex label?)
