Glad to hear the maiden flight went well and that you are pleased with your plane. Look forward to seeing flight video in the near future.

Congrats Ron on a successful FEJ flight.

This one may be a winner with the flight chararcteristics. seemed to rotate really nice, fly real stable and slowed down really stable for landing.

Great jet Ron. Looks really good and flys even better. Flying out of our 400 ft runway was not an issue at all and landing was a snap, even without any headwind. This one is a keeper!

Ron you've done your home work, very corect its from H.A.F.! ...i wish you enjoy the model..all the best!

This painting is from our A7e Olimpos(named after the Greek mountain) of the 336 Bombing Fighting squadron of Greece since 1943.
Today the 336 is the only squadron on the world that owns A7 "ready2fight".

FYI here is a video of how you should fly your Greek A7 scale

Funny, did not have plans to fly it, we were just going to do some taxi tests check all the operating systems. The wind was 20-25 cross before our club meeting and afterward the wind died down to nill. It worked out great but with everyone there nobody had a video camera.

Ahhh.. that is understandable. I have found the times like those are the best times to do maidens...

Congrats!!! i have been looking at this jet as my next project. Does FEJ offer wing pylons for the A-7?? this jet has to have them installed imo . Also what is the fuel capacity, i am planning on using a P120sx.
Thanks,
Vin...

I am gooing to weigh the jet dry this weekend and will post it here,as far a fuel, we flew it 8 min from take off roll to landing and pumped the fuel out and we had 55 oz. left. the rhino had plenty of power and it was flown during the 8 min. flight about 1/2 -2/3 power the whole time.James at FEJ had Advised to not use flaps on landing and his advice was used.the landing was with almost no head wind maybe lest than 5mph and when the landing gear was down you could tell a noticable decrease in airspeed.I was truly amazed at how slow and solid the A-7 landed.I hope to get more flights on her in the coming weeks but the weathe in Oklahoma can be real extreme this time of year.in fact i think we have broken almost all the records for weather here in this state,snow,temps/max/min,and eathquakes!but rght now i am really impressed with the A-7.

What are the flaps there for then? Just for scale appearance?

i think they could be used on take off,but with just one flight not sure ,but she really slows down very nice and i believe its just the aero of the design.that big tunnel on the fuse really has alot of drag.

I forgot to weigh the plane after it was ready to ship. But as you can see from the photo attached The weight out of the box is quite low for such a large plane.
After Ron weigh's it we will see what the install weighed.
Thanks
