Question for all of you JetCat owners out there.
I just received my JetCat GPS module. I know, why did I buy it? Cause I like gadgets.
Anyhow, since this is an easy plug into the ECU, I started thinking about why the GPS module is so large....i mean, its pretty huge!!
I have a EagleTree Systems GPS module that is about the size of 4 quarters stacked together, so I know that the GPS part can be pretty small.
Any thoughts on what is under that hard plastic JetCat GPS cover?
and any more thougths on if/how one could connect another mfg GPS (such as EagleTree) with the JetCat ECU?
thanks and
Merry Christmas!!

the JetCat GPS is a little older design then the Eagle Tree and wasn't as popular an item so it didn't progress with technology and get smaller like the new ECU.
Spektrum has said they are coming out with the telemetry module that interfaces with the JetCat ECU, couldn't drag much more information out of Andy about it other then that.
their current setup does RPM/Temp/Batt voltage/Receiver voltage/Altitude/speed/etc..... so i'd hope their interface gave the same.
