Default carbon fiber equipment boards

are those great looking equipment boards actually carbon fiber or is there a carbon fiber overlay or covering? if covering or overlay - who makes it and where do you get it?

Hi
You can buy a plastic sheet (1/8" thick ) from dreamworks.
looks like carbon fiber. I think about $16.00 a sheet.

Todd at Dreamworks has simulated carbon fiber vinyl sheet.
Sorry, I don't have the part number.

i prefer the vinyl stick on sheet over the plastic simulated sheets, it's cheaper to change your mind or screw up a few pieces of light plywood then after you know you've got it just like you want it, stick the vinyl over it and you're done.

they also make a monokote that simulates carbon as well as carbon/kevlar (used that on my old Flash), they work good too.

i even used the vinyl to wrap a start gas tank for one install.
