New RCU rant

Is it just my system or has anyone else experienced problems getting their replys to post on the first try? For the past couple of weeks every time I reply to a thread I end up having to copy my reply back out of the thread and go back in and paste my repy to get the message to post. Otherwise it just sits there and stalls and then eventually goes to a blank screen. Oh and if you don't copy it before going out on a new thread you lose everything you typed. Very aggravating...

only on a few occasions a day, but it's been that way for several months, when i finely think it's not gonna post and i highlight the txt in an attempt to copy (before the page times out and it's lost) just before i hit the copy it posts.

It seems to be time related. I've never had a problem posting a short response. When I spend more than 5 minutes or so to draft a response then I experience the problem. I've gotten in the habit of copying it before I try to post. If it bumps me out then I just do a quich paste and post. Works every time.

If you wait it does post it just seems to take a long while

that's one of your major problems, i used to love IE but in the last few yrs it's been nothing but trouble. i have IE, Firefox and Safari, Firefox seams to work best for RCU. IE got to where it wouldn't open links in new windows at all.
