OK getting ready to pull the trigger on buying one of these. I have read all the threads on these. Seems like a great turbine. Before I do Are there ant horror stories or major problems I havent read?

Thanks
Brian

Bri,

How are you.I just bought one of these, but haven't even run it yet.Company appears to be here for the long haul, with new engines in the works, and with Todd supporting it,seems like a good bet.Good luck,

Erik

Friend of mine has a few of the Kingtechs, not the 170 thoug, in a variety of jets and no issues. They seem to put out what they say, not like Jetcat which are over rating their thrust

Thanks guys.....seems to be the theme....really leaning in their direction. Love the comcept of lifetime warrenty. Everytime I send a turbine back for it's 25 hours bearing change it seems to be gone for a couple months and the bill averages 800-900 dollars! Time to look for another company. Kingtech may get the nod. Eric nice to hear from you. Please keep me updated on the Kingteck!

Nothing but good for two years straight for me on the gas start versions. These are great turbines and the service is excellent! I can't speak for the kero start because I've not yet had the privilege of owning one yet, but I have heard nothing but good on these too.

Glad to hear these things are as good as they sound to be. I believe this year is the year to upgrade my Euro-sport from its old Ram-1000 to a Kingtech 170
