Default Floating Jetliner

I was searching the other day for my next float plane. I stumbled across a club web site or newsletter with pics of a twin engine jet flying boat. This jet looked like an airliner. As far as I can remember it was blue. I think it used (2) .61 sized ducted fans for power. There were pics of this jet with wheels strapped to the bottom for T/O and landings from terra firma.

Can you help me find this jet? I didn't mark the page, and due to some sort of computer problem I have lost the last 2 weeks of browser history. No matter what I put in for search terms, I can't find the page here, in Google, Yahoo, or Lycos.

I think the pics were on a club website in a gallery or a newsletter. The club may have been in California and catered to planes, boat, and cars.

Thanks in advance,

John B.

Tony F,

Could you point me to the web site that has that picture on it? That is one of the ones I saw, but can't seem to find again. I would appreciate it. You could send me a PM if you want. I'm very interested in that plane.

Thanks,
John B.

John,

Go to www.beriev.com, the full size plane is a Be-200. They have good info on their floatplanes!
They also make the A-40 which is similar to this but much larger.
Or do a rearch with these names.
Hope it helps

Florent

Wow, what won't the Russions think of! I think the problem with the link is the "," at the end, remove it and all is OK.

Try the following site
http://www.ctrl-c.liu.se/misc/ram/be-200.html

The A-40 Mermaid is also similar. See
