It's to cancel out the roll coupling and make knife edge easier for the Masters sequence. Where's the canalizer? ....wait, wrong forum...

It will be interesting to see the price. It's the only high end ARTF jet i can think of that hasn't got composite wings. The only ones i've seen are the cheaper end of the market like the BVM Bobcat clones, tornado, falcon 120 etc which are peanuts and this can't really be compared to those cheap things

Will have a very competitive price... wait and see!

Yeah, I am guessing it will be around the £1500 mark + the retracts. Whilst this money makes it comparable to something like an all composite Futura the fact it will come out of the box covered/painted and ready for install is in its favour. I imagine it will fly superbly (nobody can deny Seba's F3A background) and the build quality will be way up there. I've had several of the Sebart larger electric models and have found the covering to remain sealed and taught even on hot days so maybe the lack of it being all composite isn't that much of a bummer. Might make repairs easier if needed??

I'd imagine it will sell well. For those after a fully painted all composite model in this size there are still the dependables like the Ultra Flash, Futura etc etc

Looking at the Area51 website, the F3A aerobatic plane retails for approx £1400 and the big 100cc planes sell for approx £1200 so allowing for the inevitable jet 'uplift' I don't think you are going to be too far off the mark at that price.

It looks really nice but £1500 is Ultra Flash price range.

IMO it needs to be much cheaper than £1500 (or have composite wings!).

If Mark is getting one there will be a secondhand one for sale come the summer, so i'll just wait until then lol

Hangar has been in lockdown for a few months and will continue to be so I'd be surprised to see one before the summer anyway.

If I don't have to apply one of my crappy vinyl schemes that would make it very attractive...but as Mark says, if its from the Sebart stable garaunteed to be an awesome flying machine.

It more looks like it was a product of a "threesome": Futura, Tuono and Aermacchi!!!
