Well, seeing as it was ME you supplied your most fun glider toy, and even had it built for you.... I thought it might be the "right" thing to do by returning the favour and building me an Ultra Bandit

Nah. PloughRebel from the sounds of it.
Tell us more Duncan..I know you dragged him up a hill to have some slope 'fun' and he told me its the best laugh he has had in a long time. But he omitted the detail

If there were several layers of awesomeness, this would be top tier.
An $18.5K ARF never looked so good!

I'm bad? Hang on, who's battery fell out during flight??? Oh and who managed to knock your battery out in flight?
Anyway the only reason I had a bad day on the slope was because someone flew in to my head and I was concussed

The single seater UB looks a lot better now, and is a nice modification in my opinion.
It looks a lot more like the SW wich again in my opinion is the nicest big sport jet that happened in the latest years.

2 questions:
first, Harley, is the pilot shown on the BV site a standard 1/6 scale figure. it looks bigger for some reason? I must say i never really warmed to an UB because of the looks of the cockpit, I am interested to see what this looks like in profile.
2nd what is a Shockwave? and how much is it? thanks

Oh My Freakin God!!
I've just heard how much a new bit of fibreglass is going to cost to turn your UB into a single seater. Now we'll know who really has more money than sense.
Incredible.

RE: Ultra Bandit single seater
Dave, I know you hate posts that moan about what something costs but if anyone has the guts to explain how it can cost over $1000 without it being for blatant profiteering then I'm all ears!!!!?
I'm not afraid of dropping stupid money on this hobby but even I'm offended.
