My problem is- I set the wing type to delta, adjust the travel of each servo for max recommended up & down pitch while moving the stick straight up & down, then adjust the travel for max recommended left & right roll moving the stick straight left & right, but when I give it full right & down or up, or left & down or up, the servos go way further than where I had them adjusted to. If I adjust them to where max recommended is not exceeded during full right or left & up or down then I don't have enough throw when I just give it just up and down, or when I give it just left and right. I have had this problem before with another radio and jet but I can't remember how I fixed it. I got a new jr12x and can't figure out how to solve this problem. Any tips will be appreciated.

The recommended max throw for the surfaces is 30mm in any possible stick position. When I adjust them to that with the stick in the corners then there is not near enough throw for just straight up and down, or just straight left & right. When I adjust them to max with straight up & down stick movement, or straight left & right then they go way to far in the corners, to the point of damaging the surface hinges, not safe for flt either way.

Wing type set to elevon.
ATV set at 100% for elevator & 80% for ailerons.
D/R for aileron set at 40,50 & 55% respectively.
D/R for elevator set at 70,80 & 100% respectively
This has put me pretty close without over travel with the sticks in the corners, but still need to fine tune the setup. Be curious to know what you come up with.

I've tried everything suggested here and more, nothing works. I appreciate the help from those that posted but I know there is someone out there with a 12x on a delta set-up that has had this same problem, and hopefully found the cure. I tried to search for some other threads about this but no luck. BUMP

What are you trying to achieve?
If I understand your question, this is a standard issue with delta elevon mixing and isn't really radio related. If you want 30 degrees throw on elevator and 30 degrees on aileron then with both at full throw you will have 60 degrees. There isn't any way it could be otherwise.
If you want total throw to be limited to 30 degrees and still be able to simultaneously get full elevator and full aileron then, be default, you will have to reduce your elevator and/or aileron throw to stay within the 30 degree total limit.
If you have 30 degrees of elevator throw and 30 degrees of aileron, but you don't want more than 30 degrees total throw then this can be done by limiting total servo throw but when you apply, for example, full up then moving the ailerons will result in only one aileron moving (as the other is already at its 30 degree limit).

Tried that, apparently that will not work with this JR12x. What I am trying to achieve is a safe flyable set-up. I've tried everything I can think of. When I adjust the max I can to keep from ripping the hinges off during corner stick position I don't have near enough throw with straight stick moves.
