Stop the Presses Tom Cook flew this weekend!
Just Unreal, Tom came out to the field to spray the pavement for weeds. Believe it or not he made a couple flights on my little Falcon P-20.
Rumers of his demise were greatly exaggerated.
He can still tickle the sticks.

Great news. He is one of the originals to this segment. I still remember the article in RCM of his ride in an Air Force F-4 when he finished up his twin DF F-4 probably 30 years ago.

Yea DC as you well know Mr Jet Model Products aka Tom Cook has flow his FIREBIRD @ Route 66 Jets on several occasions.
We are looking forward to TC and Mark Basel doing their thing with a pair of honking FIREBIRDS !!!

Just have to make it ia mandate! Reakly Roger that was the last flight He made at your rally. i ask him if he was waiting for his Funeral. Won't be long before us Oldies are " Dead Sticks" Ham radio has a word "Silent Keys" Gotta fly while we can see.

Now I know why I could not reach him over the weekend - beeing out flying is the very best excuse he could have had !!
No wonder he still can fly anything - talent never really goes away from the gifted ones !

Several years ago I posted a reprent of the story on the web, as published in RCM + a complete photo gallery along with a short video and left it there untill about a year ago when I changed internet service. I still have it posted on a small server in my home but with only a ADSL connection and if I post the link here I'm afraid too many will go there at the same time and overload my uplink bandwidth.
What do you guys think. Here is another pic for now.
