Last night just clean up my plane and notice my turbine wheel is tight and it hard to spin over.
Took the engine and clean the dirt built up and fire her up.
Wow, I been flying with less power all this time.
As usual....me only fly. Didn't check my RPM because the engine been running many cycles not thinking had any issue.

Anyways there is more speed this F-4 can do.
Any thrust figures yet? Everything flies from tarmac, but I know some of the Habu32 have trouble with grass(small plane, small wheels, small engine ...obvious) and I would like to know what the devided pipe does of the thrust as I fly mostly from grass.

I forget to put the scale to measure it.
Let finish dinner and fire her up to check.

You need extra long strip for grass take off.
I suggest using upgrade struts. That help on grass take off and landing.

I don't think so but he responds to inquiries on his site no sweat, or on the phone.

I flew with him when he had that F-4 going maybe a year ago. After seeing some local guys have problems with the DF version I did not expect much ....WOW was I wrong, Tam flew that F-4 with P-20 beautifully. It was all in the set up (CG and throws) and then just trusting it to slow down. It was fantastic.

+1 re Tam's setup. Got to see it fly while visiting NorCal and the performance was outstanding!!! Nothing like seeing a product demonstrated with authority.

I have a couple of F4s...one with a stock motor and Tam blades with a 100amp controller and the other with a TJ-80 Tam fan system and a Cortex gyro.

You can literally hand launch the TJ-80 Phantom...the TJ-80 is completely sick!

Call Tam and order yours today!

Beave : )

Default Pipe

I actually just acquired one of these myself. The guy who bought Tam out said he can still make these pipes . I think with shipping the price is around $450 and 2 week wait time. His screen name on RCG is 1moparman1.

Hi guys, I realize that this is a pretty old thread, but I picked up one of these very nice jets and converted it to K30 power and a single pipe. One litre tank over the CG and total weight only 3kgs. Still finishing it, but hopefully the maiden flight soon!

Home made pipe and Ebay welder

With ECU battery in nose, balances without lead.

A bit of touch up paint coming.

3 axis gyro fitted and RX battery over the nose leg.

One litre juice bottle, felt clunk.

Pipe is sort of hidden away.

Nice composite micro jet!

3kg empty, 3.8kg TOW.
