grbaker,Your correct they are BVM kits.Andy did ask for Skymaster but he might be interested in any F4 that might be for sale.Since John has two he might want to sell one of them.

Dom, I'm interested in the Larger F4. I would put a min 36 lb thrust turbine in it. Yours should be a screamer with a P-140 though! Seya in KY!

Had an unexplained (RXPWFAIL) engine shut down right after I pulled the wheels up on takeoff. Really all I need is a new set of wings and some nose gear mount repairs and she would be up again. The problem is that it pretty much puts me out of the flying season becuasee it takes so long to get Skymaster painted parts these days. Heck I asked BVM for a quote over a week ago and still don't have it.

Try a Bvm this time. Not one phantom out there comes close to it. Trust me I have had them all.
It's built like a tank and flys like a hotrod.

man you are correct, the BVM one is unmatched. I like the size of the Skymaster though. Did you see Phil's new BVM Blue Angels? He took top award at MAB this year for it. And he flys Balls to the Walls just like you do.

I remember reading John Redman's F-4 build thread. He is building two F-4's, but one of them is for a customer. I assume the other F-4 is for himself.

The two I am building are not for sale. One is for a friend and the other is for my son.

Will agree with Phil, nothing compares to a BV Phantom. The sorta close to scale Chinese versions are nice and big, but in my opinion do not live up to the Rhino heritage in strength and abilities.

My p-200 powered SM F-4 stood up to everything I could throw at it. Granted I never flew it wide open except in a vertical, but it was plenty strong.

My BVM F4 is now 12 years old and is built like a tank. It's definetly a pilots airplane, and Will either make you or break you as a pilot, nothing else compares.

Here is my IRIAF Desert Scheme SM F4 E nose. I fly it with a TITAN SE. Few months ago I thought of selling it but changed my mind. However I may change my mind again. Its not brand new and has had repairs to nose gear plate and right side main gear plate. I also put piano hinges on all control surfaces.
