lucky my home and family are ok...friends that live in the center of earthquake are
ok..but 7 death and over 3000 without home..
several industry damaged.
the city of FERRARA is ok but several historic monuments are hard damaged
very scary the "sound" of earth... like a big train in the sleeping room

thoughts are with you and your fellow countrymen. i lived in italy for a while and for some time in assisi back in 89... when the earthquake hit there a few years ago and seeing the images, it was very sad to see the history of centuries reduced to rubble.

before and after the first massive earthquake (sunday 4.04 am) there is a succession of shocks, one every 30 / 60 minutes..
(now about over 100 from first one)

Very likely that the worse is over and aftershocks are always expected.
I remember a big earthquake at night in Cordoba, Argentina when I was very young.
What amazed me most was my Dad and Mum throwing us away from the vacation house to the car, with everything packed in a record time!
