Default SimJet Customer Service

Hi everyone,
I've tried to contact SimJet in Fla. three times in the several weeks with no success. I've sent an E-mail and called twice regarding buying the manual for the kit version of the 2300 and no one has ever gotten back to me. I'd like to know what I'm getting into before I spend $2100 on a bag of parts. Anyone else have any problems with SimJet?
Thanks,
Jon

Jon, call Kevin or Ed at Great Northern Models (905 681-5460). They should be able to help you. They are handling all U.S. distribution at the moment.

Default SimJet

I talked to John Christensen from SimJet Friday and he did say that he had underestimated the work involved with running the business and that it had become so big and time consuming that it was hurting his "real" business.

Apparently John made some aerospace related inventions last year he just got patented and that business is now taking of, so he had to work with that fulltime.

He also said that Ed and Kevin from Great Northern Models had taken over since they already were the Canadian SimJet distributor.

Regards

Peter

Default Ralp Dibiase

Well Ralph Dibiase (RAPPTOR), what I have heard from the horses mouth is that you owe SimJet money for an engine you bougt at cost more that 4 months ago. An engine that you on several occations have told how much you like. Now that John Christensen is closing down his SimJet account he is trying to get his money from you and you react by trying to spread false dirt. John told me that you are a tinkerer that on several occations have destroyed you own engine by trying to improve it, and that you also are a guy who just sits at your computer and pretents to be a jet expert even though you never fly.

My 2 cents

Peter

Default info?

Don't worry rapptor, put stuff on this list it gets deleted and then you persaonally get attacked. the rules of this board are very difficult to interpret, if you criticise certain turbines now it is immediately deleted, ask wd40 about his turbine, sounds like he really liked his ecu too.

I think the answer is to build your own these days, they are not fully developed yet,

PMFJI, to avoid bias/conflict of interest, I will recommend that the RC Admin eliminate all the moderators that a representatives of any manufacturer.

PMRISER, Rapptor and all...

As per RCU please note the following from RCunviverse rules:

(4) Personal attacks on an individual are not allowed at RCU. If you have a problem with another individual please use your email and not our forums.

(5) Attacks on a product or company are not allowed at RCU. You may relate a problem you had but please do not trash the product or company.

Now, I may be a SimJet rep but I am first and foremost a moderator on this board. My rep status has NO affect as to what gets edited on these boards but RCU rules do!
Mr Ralph Dibiase (RAPPTOR) post was blatent lies and will not be tolerated in this forum.
Thank you for following the forum rules!

Hmmmmm, Tod, how about the "DELANAD TABLIBAN" saga?

That thread went forever without being deleted. Maybe it depends on who was involved.

Please note that this is not an attack on anyone, but just stating by observations.

Rapptor,

If you are in such a need to read spread junk on the Internet, why don't you go to rcwatch.com instead. They have a "garbage can" for people like you who enjoy starting rumours and discuss worthless crap. This forum is supposed to be for jet related questions. And Rapptor., I just learned that you had the same fight with RAM over money also. Aparently you are not only a low life that stabs people in the back, you are also a piss poor customer who never pays you bills. If it is respect you want, how about building an airplane and "fly" it at the events so we all can see what kind of hero you are. Your personal fight with John C does not impress and only makes you look like a fool.

Ok, this has gone far enough. I am closing this one down since neither at this moment can prove their claims. It boils down to ones word over another and until we can find out who is being above board here it will stay closed. If a new one opens up and starts all over again then it will be zapped, so don't even think about it.

The rules here are simple...no personal attacks or company attacks. If something is factual and can be substantiated regarding a company it is of course permitted but evidence to back it up is necessary. Random mud slinging without backup is not. Constant bashing and attacks are what kills the enjoyment of these forums for the users...

Any moderator who has an affiliation or conflict of interest will back away from that thread and have another moderator tend to it...our jet mod did exactly that here which is commendable.

As far as deland I closed that thread and it was against the wishes of many including those very close with it...as for how soon something should get closed I see mods and me get slack for things closing too soon and sometimes not soon enough...we try to do the best job we can under sometimes difficult circumstances but always keep the users and everybodies enjoyment of the forums in mind before all.

Thanks all
