I heard from a reliable source last week that a Florida based turbine distributor is closing doors?

Can somebody please confirm it.

Why dont you just say now that you've gone there which Florida Turbine Manufacturer is closing its doors as they're a couple of them in FL.

If you are speaking of the Simjet distributor, yes, John Christensen will not be continuing on as the US distributor. The business has gotten bigger than he expected, and it is conflicting with his "full time" business. As for now, Ed Miedzybrocki and Kevin McLeod with Great Northern Models are handling all of North America. You can contact them at (905)681-5460 or [email protected] (Ed), [email protected] (Kevin).

Default John Christensen

Well he kindly posted the issues with his timing and not expecting for it to be as busy as it is, so he turned it over to Ed Miedzybrocki.

That doesnt mean they're out, they're growing very nicely and very strong so the answer is NO, No turbine company is going out.

Every FL manufacturer was at Toledo with the exception of BVM.

Default simjet owner

As an owner of several simjets, I am disapointed in John leaving. On the other hand. I think Ed, Kevin and Lars are really taking care of buisness. So don't jump ship. Simjet is a good turbine.
Just watch them and see. I know I'm not loosing faith in them.
Thanks for reading.

Default SimJet US Distribution

Hello All

Hooked - Thank you for your vote of confidence!

Kevin and I have been busy over the last week dealing with this transition. Please be patient as this transition is consuming a lot of our time and resources at the moment. There will be an official announcement by SimJet Denmark in a few days

If you require sales information or pricing, please contact me at [email protected]. If you have support questions, please contact Kevin at [email protected]. Since Kevin and I can not always answer the phone, you can also leave a message or send a fax to (905)681-5460.

Sincerely,
Kevin and Ed

BKF, you told me at Toledo flat-out that RAM was going out of business.
Being that this must be the twentieth time I have heard that rumor over the years, do you care to elaborate?

BFK, You told me the same thing at Toledo, that RAM was out of buisness and wern't going to be at the show. Funny thing was that they are still in buisness and were at the show...spent a lot of time looking at the 500X...

Maybe this is why BFK is no longer involved with this site (see his Roo building 101 thread for more details)
