A buddy was having some engine problems with his Ram 750, if he had a failed start and restarted the engine without charging the ECU pack his engine would fluctuate RPMs at idle, usually idling around 50-55,000 rpm and would not drop any lower. We decided to try a Duralite Plus ECU pack and not only has this eliminated all the odd engine surges he was experiencing but he can now fly 7 to 10 flights without having to recharge. Just thought I would share....

I am using the duralites in my Vario Jetcopter on the ECU and for RX & TX.
I too can at a min 8 Flights with mine and that is using a jetcat.
Nice not to have to bring all of your charging stuff for a day of flying!

I'm about ready to go with Li-Ion packs for my ECUs also - if for no other reason than the number of flights per charge. I assume you used a 7.4V pack but what capacity? Are you guys going to step up for the Li-Ion setup (w/regulator) for the receiver/flight pack?

Mike,
I've just started to use the Duralites on my receiver packs, i've been using them on the ECU for about 6 months now. I'm using their 2800ma pack on a 5.2 volt regulator for the receiver and a 3600ma for the ECU. Gotta love the flight times without a charge....
