I didn't know it, but it looks like it will do 800 kts. Would give an F35 a run for the money.
T38 is AB also, but still underpowered.

Is a long story... this plane is a reminder that politics try to label things that aren´t!

Pretty cool looking airplane, but not a lot of punch. Lots of long straight runs to build energy and no vertical component to the display...

So, isn't the tucano both a fighter and trainer as well?

What's the issue here you don't like the T-50????

I understand the F-16 heritage, but they are very different in both good and bad aspects.
This is not a dumbed down Viper, the F-2 is.

Yes, you can tell it is a modified F16 sequence, with limited vertical. Pretty much like flying an Avonds F16 on a RAM 500.
But I'd love to see a T38 fly like that.

Please David, to take me wrong! I think the T-50 is too good.

About the Tucano, is not a fighter.. but a good airplane that can do many things and also shoot down a airplane out of the sky once or twice.

Not knocking the airplane. Just lets get real. The only thing about it that is trainer is that it has two seats. Mach 1.5 and a 14k payload- As John Lovits would say" Yeah its a trainer - Thats it." Scotty

Ok I see your points now. I'm sure there were other intentions in the design, such as exports.

T-38's are no slouch on takeoff guys. I have seen more than a few push it straight up at the end of a 10,000 foot runway more than once. Not sure what altitude they can go to but they push it out of sight.

I don't know ow it compares, but the F-20 Tigershark goes from brake release to 65,000ft in 90 seconds.... That will pin you back !!

Haters! We are all just jealous we either are:

1. Not there to take in the sights in person
or
2. Not the one flying the thing!

What did I miss in the video? There was nothing in that routine that would get a round of applause from me. Wish I could find a video of Bob Hoover doing his routine in a commercial business jet; T-39 Saberliner. What he could do with that thing was amazing.
