I'm in! As long as my Hawk gets here in time
looking forward to my first ''all jet'' meet. I've never participated in one so I'm really excited!

Don't want to hear about these "if's" on whether you come. Just be there. If you have to partake in the Montgomery loan-a-plane program, my rates are reasonable. I'll be bringing a couple of planes with me.
David R. and I will be there Wed.

Guess I'll make it there. Kind of a long drive, but I'll make the 10 mile trek to see all of you guys! Goose, I'm working on getting a 6-pack of PBR just for you!

Hey guys
If you can't find rooms in Monticello then try champaign. It is only about 15 -20 min away from the field and they have a bunch of different hotels. Should be no problem. As Missie said in an earlier post email her if you have questions on hotels.
I leave at 5 in the morning for Germany. See all of you in a week!!

Being on fixed income I have cut corners everywhere I can. BTW, you still owe me half the tip I left at lunch the other day.

Got back to Dallas about 8:30 after a 14 hour drive. Going to spend a few days here then go head home to Austin to get really for the Greater Southwest.
This was my first trip to this event and it won't be my last. I had really had a great time. Met some old friends that I haven't seen in quite a while and made a lot of new friends. This was truly a laid back event.
Thanks goes to the Monticello Model Masters for hosting the event. Chris Huhn for his CD efforts, Chris you are one crazy dude. Thanks to Kim and David Payne for your hospitality Friday night. Horizon Hobby must use David's house as a warehouse for their airplanes. Dude you got some serious airplanes, helis, cars and boats on hand.
And then there's Missie Anderson. No words can discribe Missie. What a jewel of a person. Thanks for all your help.
Thanks to all that prepared the food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The meal Saturday night was awesome.
And Dustin, that s%$# really works.
