Savox Servos

I am in the process of building a new ultra Flash and starting to wonder which servos to buy. I was considering using these SAVOX servos instead of the JR, since on a cost basis they cost half as much as a comparable JR. Wanted to know if anybody out there is using these servos and what you think about them.

I am hoping someone like you tries them out and tells us how they work, fit (need modification of the drill pattern) etc. Not sure how many people venture far away from what has consensus experience in such matters. But then many of us end users are very comfortable with anecdotal experiences. It doesnt make sense how a single testimony on a Jet, a Radio, an Engine and we jump in. But in something like servos, we stand back and want experience collected. Im sure someone will come up and say they had no problems. They always do.

I've never used them in a jet but we have had great success with them in giant scale applications. They also manufacture the Align 600 servos that are pretty much the standard in nitro helis.
If I were building a jet I wouldn't hesitate to use them given my current experience with them in big gassers.

Despite what John says I'm gonna post anyway.
First used 1256's on an Elan tail to test them out with no problems. (100 odd flights)
Next used all Savox on my 1/5th L39 now on 48 flights, again no problems.
New JL Viper with four flights, again all fine.
I had two 8511's fry themselves on an F16 tail and replaced them with 1256's, no problems since (no regulator fitted)
Currently installing them in a small F86, in other words I trust them implicitly.
As has been stated they also make the Align and also the Spektrum servo's I believe.
I recommend them.
Gary.

I have 4 micro digitals on the flaps and ailerons on my MIG-15. They make alot of noise but are working great so far, maybe 20 flights. Only negative was their tech support said the micros wouldn't hold up to a 2S life or liion without a regulator.
