I have one which I am about finished in the assembly. It is a tight fit to get everything in there. I hope it flies as good as it looks. I have only seen video of the prototype flying and have not seen any production models as of yet. I too am interested in how it will behave.

I have only one flight on mine. The CG was set at 245 mm and it was nose heavy, requiring a bunch of up trim to fly level. I'll try 255 mm next. Other than that it flew very well and has more than enough power with a 140. The recommended throws are about right.
Here's the maiden http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ua2kwFcf6R4 If you check out the X-treme Jets website there is another flight video besides the prototype.
Read Maj. Woody's build thread in this forum if you haven't already. I didn't do all the modes he did but did find it necessay to reroute the airlines and servo wires in the wing so that they enter the fuse along side the turbine. I also used button valves for the gear doors to simplify the routing, mounted a single 8711 servo for the elevator, and modified the fuel tanks.

Which engine is this? I am using a Kingtech 140, so it is good to here that it should be adequate. I have the full cockpit kit, so there is a limited amount of room under the glass. I am in the final stages so hopefully she will be ready soon. I would interested to see how you put the sero in the vertical stab, since I have not found much in the way of directions for that, and it is the one thing I have left to do. I will go thru Maj. Woody's thread and see if I can find it there. I have the Sundowners scheme.

That's a Merlin 140.It's a real rocket with a 140, way more than adequate. I was at half throttle or less for most of the flight in the video.
My equipment tray is about 1/2" below the cockpit floor. The cockpit bottom is uneven so I had to carefully locate everything for clearance. Retract and brake valves/servos, and UATare against the sides, ECU at the rear, guages and fill valves are located where there's clearance. The fuel pump and solenoids are below the tray and air tanks in the nose.
I don't have a picture of my elevator servo, but I mounted it pretty much the same as shown in Woody's thread.

I wonder how it would be to permanently fly this one fof grass? Pretty hard surface and low cut golf grass?
Is it a tricky plane or stable and nice?
the look is awesome [8D]
