Default RATS NEST

Bowl of Spagetti.....similar to what I'm looking at in a jet I bought a few months back.... I'm looking at servo wires/ air leads everywhere in a tangled zip tied mess. ....Where is the best place to start unravelling a mess like this. Servos to controls and then going to the air harness to landing gear, then gear doors ? Then find a plce to bolt in the turbine ??What a nightmare/// Just pull everything out and start from scratch...

Appreciate your advise or encouragement....

Pull it and start from Scratch, at least then you KNOW what you have everywhere.

Smitty wrote a " How To " book on this exact subject !!! He was inspired to do so after he won the " Spaghetti Bowl Award " at Kentucky Jets this year !!! He won by a landslide. I'm sure if you send him a PM , he would be glad to send you complimentary autographed copy !!! Sure to be a collectors item !!!

Take it to Kentucky Jets next year as is and give Smitty some competition.

Start over that way you will have the chance to inspect everything and the airframe too, replace if you see it necessary like airlines or fuel lines.

At the end you will now exactly what you have and the way you wanted

There is no such thing as ready to go or add fuel and receiver and fly, nope.

I agree. Start over and label everything. Makes things easier to trouble shoot once hid behind bulkheads or under floors, fuel tanks etc. especially a year or two done the road.

I bought a second hand Sprint with a similar problem, was I glad I pulled it all out, the rudder extensions where four separate extensions with not so sticky tape on them, that was only the beginning, other horrors where buried in the wings as well, pull it all out and start afresh.
