Hi Guys
Has anyone done a build thread on the Shockwave jet, I am interested to know about the quality, fit, finnish etc.
The kit does look good, but it will be nice to hear from someone that has built and flown one.
Regards
Neil

Stunning flying jet. I have been lucky enough to get a few flights on two different examples. One flight was enough that I needed one in my life! Still waiting for mine to show, but not long now I hope.

Unfortunately I only had the pleasure for about 3 minutes but in that short time I can tell you it flys more straight and true than anything I've flown out there and can do it at half the speed. KE stupid easy fun. All the big dogs have wrung it out and raved afterwards. Ali did a rolling loop while smoking a Cuban at KY. I have quite a few pics, I'll post some of the better ones. Finish is outstanding, solid built but very light for size.

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys, I really do like the looks of this jet. I am looking for something for the Jet Aerobatic class as I am currently flying a 1.9M Futura. The requirements for me is a nice light kit that can be powered by one of the new light weight 20-24 kg thrust turbines.
My short list is as follows:
Shockwave
Ultra Lightning
2.5M Futura

Neil,
The CARF stuff is great, love my flash and have flown UL - but the Shockwave is in a different league as far as how it flies and the finish. I'm sure Scott will chime in and let you know vs. the Futura as he has both.

I want to know if electric retracts will be an option or what size struts are used and are the 1/2 inch or 8mm
any provisions for something like the C-50 line or the electron would be good.
