Hey guys,
For those of you who know him, Rob is in the hospital in New Braunfels TX. He had both knees replaced Wed. I saw him today and he is feeling a bit behind the power curve still. He says about a week more in the hospital then home. Will be quite a while before he is out flying though. Lots of rehab to do. The hospital is McKenna Hospital, New Braunfels, TX Rm 214B. A card or two from the jet guys sure would cheer him up. You could also send them to Sundance Golf Course, New Braunfels, TX and they will get them to him. I'll print the posts on this thread and send to him also. Thanks!

Ray Blair (Bandito on RCU), one of the jet guys here in Houston, suffered a heart attack on Tuesday and has had quadruple bypass surgery. He is in intensive care at Westside Hospital in Houston. He is doing well and should recover fully.

I don't know Rob, but from one of the RCU guys, I wish him well. My wife has had knee surgery and my brother is still recovering from a serious knee & leg injury two months ago. Although not through personal pain and experience, I can sympathize with his situation.

Tom,

give rob our best from the austin gang! He was scooting around fine at GSW. I guess the SJ F-16 flights kept him floating along. Best he did them both at once, I understand he'd never go back for the second after enduring the pain for the first.

I just talked to Ray Blair's wife and she said he is doing great and will be going home tomorrow. I had the name of the hospitol wrong in my earlier post. He is in the West Houston Medical Center.
