This guy called Ridgehogs posted on RCG a while back that he had designed his own 70mm jet. Its small for sure..But a lot of people commented on what a great looking model it is but that it needs to be bigger!!
He is now in the works of making it a 120 size model where a K100G would do it sweet justice.
I for sure would love to pick up one of these when there ready for production.

I think the Hawk and the Phantom have already been done
He openly admits that is an incorporation of at least 3 different planes. Now a days..its pretty hard to design a jet that doesnt look like another jet. But in the end...I personally think it looks great.

Looks like the offspring of a Hawk and a Phantom. Personally, if he is going to go through all the trouble of tooling and design and testing etc, why not make it a Hawk OR a Phantom...not both?

I applaud the guy's efforts and enthusiasm, but personally find the results a bit silly and more than a bit fugly.

To be honest... My first impression when i saw the model was that he had modeled the F3N Demon. Which by the way is the predicessor of the F4

Hi Pilots,
Yes this is a hybrid of a few planes F4, Hawk and a L-39.
Here is a rough shape so far. It looks different to the original image at the start of this thread, only because the delta wings are not attached yet. It may not be everyones cuppa tea, but still fun to design your own aircraft from scratch.

Good on this guy. He can make it any way he wants when it's his jet and then let guys come to him that want it (if in fact he entertains making short kits). I think the idea of trying to please everyone is a good idea only if you want to certainly fail. Too much of an ARF culture exists in RC jets today, the same old jets being demanded, and not enough imagination out there IMHO. That's why I like this effort and hope he builds it.
