Looking forward to having Pablo back in Florida....he needs to get going on MY Shockwave!!

Due to family commitments this weekend I spent the day driving back from Kentucky Jets (was there Sunday thru Thursday). A year ago I lobbied to make the trip and looked forward to it all year. I can unequivocally say the event exceeded my expectations!
A big thanks to Lewis and his team for putting on such a great event and making one feel very welcome! I mean he even had Philadelphia water ice there! If that doesn't make a guy from Philly feel welcome, I don't know what will!? He likes to say its the attendee's event not his, and it really has that vibe.
While seeing all the planes (its almost incomprehensible how many jets there are in one place) and some amazing piloting skills is one of the highlights of the event, there is a great social side to the event too.
It was great to meet so many people who before I had only met online via the forums or email. I can't wait until next years event to meet up with all the new friends I made, and look forward to making even more next year!
Thanks Lewis, and to everyone else still lucky enough to be there, enjoy the rest of the event and fly safe!

The Shockwave is the absolute CRANK UP BOMB of sport jets for sure! Of course, with Pablo pulling and pushing sticks, it is the ultimate air show. The knife edges are precision at high and low speeds, point rolls are crazy accurate...abrupt verticals are nuts!
I never got tired of watching them fly all day long. I just don't think video will capture the reality of these airframes. It's got to be in person, man. Wondering if Pablo will get out towards you guys to Best In The West?

There is no way you know it's a simple fix until it's been rigorously flight tested.

It's really a simple fix. Some holes were drilled in places that made the plate weak. Should be fine now. I want one really BAD!!!!!!!!!!!Lewis

What a great day! 189 pilots, and it's only Friday! Best group of pilots ever! Tons of Spectators too. The "Smack Down", and the "Show Down" were spectacular!!!!! I'm going to find time to fly Saturday. Thanks for a great group of pilots!!!!!!!!!!Lewis
