This is the flight before the mid-air. Will fly the new A-7 as soon as weather permits.

Lewis, instead of a "hand off" this time, let's get all 3 of them up together! Rooms booked and travel arranged. Can't wait.

RE: Jets Over Kentucky 2013
Mr. Patton puts on the finest jet show you will ever attend. Not only is it for spectators and pilots, it is a family event and Mr. Patton is a most gracious host and goes far and above anything I have ever seen. Kentucky Jets is a show that me and my family plan on attending until he asks us not to! Thank you again Lewis for your generosity.

I wonder if Mr. Patton could give us some background information about this great event...When & How was the event started, how did the relationship with the tourisim board begin ? Was there a local R/C club that started the event, a corporation or just interested individuals "on a mission from God" ??? The history of how this event came to be could possibly help others that are wanting to do something similiar in their hometown. :-)

Trying my hardest to resist the urge of going ( Its one hell of a journey, and at my busiest time of year ) However. The draw of my all new Thunderthud (Come on B1) Hanging with my buddies such as Chuck, the rest of the canadians, Rich, Team FEJ, Lowell's amazing Turkey jerky etc means its getting awfully hard not to bring that British Airways booking page up...

I'm afraid your going to have to be there then!! Between you and James (who said make sure you bring a BIG bag!), that should be about 10lbs alone!! I'll have it there....you just need to be there for "other peoples jerky"!!
Can't wait.

This looks like a fun event. I hope I can make it this year!

I hadn't realized that you'd never been there - it is a MUST attend event! You can come early in the week and have a blast buzzing around the sky whenever you want and most of the time all by yourself, and then by Friday and Saturday you can see a level of activity that makes the Joe Nall or FL Jets of old look quiet by comparison! Plus Mr. Patton is a welcoming and tireless host! It does get a bit hot, but oh wait, there's an air conditioned pilot's tent...

Hi Bob
I've never made it there. The pics and comments sure make it look great! Some of the guys from Mobile have asked me to go but couldn't do it at the time. There are talking to me about Miss Afterburner too. Maybe get lucky and go to GA Jets too. This could be a fun jet summer!
Miss flying that 'roo that you guys helped me get my waiver on forever ago.
