Frank hires a photographer to attend the event and he takes pictures of the event. Those will be posted on www.franktiano.com. It usually takes a couple of weeks or so for him to post the pictures up there.

The field is smooth as glass. Just had a main gear fail to come down and he crippled it in on two legs, wiped the grass stain off and had no damage. Had a belly landing Wednesday with no damage. The field is like carpet.

The problem with RCU is that picture size is limited to smaller sizes or resolution. As the cameras are getting better and RCU is getting worse, with less memory available for the users because of the simple economic math used by the current owners, the content can´t be uploaded, meaning that this site future content will not be as good as it was in the past. (not to mention that already some of the past content is being lost).
But this is not a big problem for us, members at all.. plenty of social media, like facebook, instagram, other sites like Dustin´s with lot´s of pictures.
The biggest issue is for the RCU owner(s) wich are losing a fraction of the value of its investment every single day, but I suppose that this is the way the world works! LOL

Ok, back in Melburne, had a great time in Lakeland, got there by 11:00 am and left around 4:00 pm. I had a chance to talk to Ali, Todd, Joe, Bob, Jack, John R., Chui and of course Mr:FL Jets himself Frank T. Couldn't talk to but saw in action Henry, Berry, and few others.
Over all very organized event and we had a great time the time we spend there.

Ali and Chui they both fly very diferent yet so majestic. Jack was flying his Cougar and that made me feel good our own Cali guy .
There where many excellent pilots with many excellente jet planes. Bob V. was flying as usual and the man can fly, I tell you, when I asked him if he was flying the electra he responded very firmily " I fly them all, they are all mine and I fly them all the time" he can fly and fly them good, really good.

Lots of words tonight, tomorrow I will only post the pics. and will work on putting a video thogether from all the shots I got.
The WX was as forcasted mostly cloudy, the temps were a tad low for this time of the year ( I think ) the skys began to clear up by 3:00 pm and it got warmer.
I saw at least 3 jets that didn't make it back to the runway for one reason or another but no major incident occured just your regular flame out or no gear down.

RCU is a freaking joke. I went to a 1 year old build thread to look at an installation ideas and all the photos were missing. The sooner we all post to RCJetaddicition.com, the better.
