Just got home safe and sound after tearing up the skies at the best jet rally EVER! Larry and Robert - you guys put on one hell of a show. I know I'm not alone when I say a great big THANKS! I'm already counting down to next year. . . .
Here's a crappy video and a couple pics -

Brian (Thumbler) it was great to meet you. And that goes for you too, Gerald: my new "Flash Club" buddies.

I'm sure all the Maryland gang are back home by now. We had a great time even with our issues. Jimmie said we had First in Flight, first in flood, first in float, and then first in flight again for Saturday and Sunday. Thanks again to all involved and especially the city of Wilson for letting us have the event and we'll be there again next year.

We'd also like to thank all of the guys who put on FIF - thanks for your hard work! Thanks also to the city of Wilson for the use of their facility.
Thanks to everyone for the Award of Excellence for Louie and all of the kind words about him. He was blown away. Finally, thanks to Eric Clapp for creating the award, his support of the hobby, and his excellent service and great turbines.

Thank to Larry, Robert, all of the rest of the team, and everyone who makes this event possible. I had a fantastic time as usual .
I was completely blown away by being presented with the Top Gun Award, thank you does not describe the gratitude !
Many thanks to the city of Wilson and the air park for their generosity in providing such a fantastic place to play.
The official count for my resurrected shock jet ( "after shock" ) was 38 flights and 15 gal of jetA.
Thanks again everyone see you next year.
