The original "Doug-a-dilla" in the desert of California.

The "High Altitude" Doug-a dilla cooking up at 8200' in the Rockies west of Denver. Good, but as Paul said, not as good as the original. I guess the saying "often imitated, but never duplicated" applies here. Maybe the beverages consumed in CA have something to do with that!

The D-a Dilla, Carne', and Magoo's magic grill are the icing on the cake that make this more than just a jet rally. Looking forward to next year already.

I made the mistake of making those things once and now they are a sought after commodity...... Gotta love all the bros hovering around the the grill with their hoovers open waiting for a slice of the Mona Lisa of quesadillas...

Good times!

"I don't always eat quesadilla's, but when I do, I prefer the Doug-a Dilla".

If you truly want the best quesadilla you'll ever eat.. Take some carne asada.. start cooking it on the grill, and then add cheese to it. Cook it all together to fully melt the cheese, and THEN put it in the tortilla, and cook a little longer.

Gotta tell ya Doug, Dougies Dougadillas were different than any "normal" quesadilla. If ya like normal then more power to ya. But this unique concoction blew the typical version away.

Nice job, Steve. It'd be cool to match that up with external video of the same flight.

Congrats again on a great event, it looked like the outreach to the county went well. Is there any word about the future of the field?

Regards,

What an AWESOME time! I am so glad to be back in the game!! It is a great feeling to be part of this "family" and to share it with new friends from around the world! What an incredible event and turn out. Very impressed by what Joey, Nancy, and the BARKS club pulled off this year.
On a personal note, I am very greatful to those on both sides, who worked so hard to preserve "flying at the Willow." Without a local field, I know I would have to cut back the fleet.....THANK YOU!

Long over due, I wanted to reach out to a few people who made this week possible for me...

Henry Nguyen, who spent endless hours and long nights without sleep to put my Viper in the air before the Event ended. Thanks! and you can rest knowing I did not buy any kits this year, so I wont be calling you a week before the next event asking you for a favor!!!

Doug, Thanks brother! always good times, you always have my back. I know if I ever needed anything or only had one call from Jail, your my go-to guy! True life long friend.

Ali, What can I say?? Probably Sorry!! Thanks for taking the time to test fly the Viper and Flash. and secretly being a member of the 10X club!!

Dave S, Tony Q, and Paul R and crew for capturing the Good Times had by all.

Kevin, it was great meeting you. Thanks for taking the time, setting up the Gyro and explaining how to set up the EXPO on the 10x!!!
Looking forward to another great showing by the Horizon Team next year!!

Kenny MAC! Dude you Rock!! Congrats! on the AWARD!! well deserved, as I can attest!! You spent over an hour reprogramming the Flash when all I asked was a question on setting up the matchbox!! AND on the 10X to boot!!!!

Joooeey! Seriously, the ATOMIC PUNKS!! That was off the hook. Truth be known, that was the only way I convienced Jenny to spend 3 days in ButtonWillow! Sorry, Presta!!!! Awesome job you two on the Auction. Great entertainment....

Jenny, Thanks BABE! for being a good sport. and thank God you stopped at one bottle of wine, cuz the Vanna White role would have gone a whole-nother direction!!!
