An amazing safety for jets with the 25kg hype and only allowing straight flybys, then letting someone loose with a 150cc 3meter plane in the night with several close calls way closer to the net then any jet ever flew...

I also thought the large turbine heli flew quite close to the net and I agree there was an incident with the large plane at night when they let off the fire flash I guess it blinded the pilot for a second

Well I have to say this has been the most memorable event I have ever seen or been to. The Caliber of modelers, pilots, and vendors is just AMAZING!!! I would like thank everyone who contributed to that especially Scott Marr, Ali. Who really helped with making my trip over the best ever.
I will certainly come visit every year and hopefully participate. See you guys next year.

Good show! I have a feeling that there were not quite so many people as the previous years, maybe the weather forecast had something to do with it ?
BUT! the best of it all is to meet all the GREAT guys from all over the globe, and to shake hands with them, finallt meeting Craig ("tobba"), Pablo, Scott and a bunch of other guys. Been reading your posts here for quite a few years, and now finally meeting you in person

Guys a big thank you from GBRJET for an awesome show, really appreciate the continued support for my products and hopefully you will be pleased and get many years of reliable service from them.
Must mention a few names, Terry Best for his tireless work helping out this year (he machines all the metal parts for all my products - awesome work mate) - Steve Johnson from Aerotrim who shared the stand this year, provided transport and drove like a champ to get us back to the Eurotunnel in time!
Sverrir - cheers mate for the pics and banter, great to meet up finally..
Craig Abbott - having spent almost 10 days with this great guy from NZ I'm looking forward to hooking up again soon and enjoying some flying time with you and visiting your place back in NZ next year.
Scott and Pablo - great guys and very, very supportive of my products, hope to see you again soon, safe journey back to the USA.
Ali - always helps and always finds the time in his busy schedule to fly my jets. Great display this year on the Orion over the weekend in some tricky weather on Saturday too - really appreciated.
Phil Noel - Pinnacle Aviation who painted the amazing paint scheme on the Orion (and builds some amazing models too - check out his web site).
It's tough times out there so once again a big thanks to all those who spent hard earned cash over the weekend with me, its really appreciated.
I hope to find time this week to upload the new products onto my site, if you want info you can always email and I will do my best to answer questions and provide info in the meantime. Finally the next product will be a 'stopper' for the MagLok vent so when you store your jet the vent can be simply sealed - naturally it will use the MagLok magnetic catch system and be supplied with a tag to make sure its not left on the jet when fuelling (even though its design means it would self release if this happened) - should be ready in a few weeks time.

I heard someone accidently lost parts from the airframe (rockets or dummy tanks). Also the orange L29 had som sort of failure where parts left. Possibly the thrust tube "exploding".

Henke ,
the l29 lost its belly pan during flight, but it was being flown very hard, I was watching the flight, but it was landed straight away, unlike the F18 ,where the pilot wanted to finish his flight , :-0
