Hi Guys,
I need to replace and refill the nose steering hydraulic fluid in my SM A-4.
Need some info:
1. What fluid is advised?
2. What is the technique to fill the lines and pistones with the fluid, completely air-free?
Apreciate any help.
Thanks,
Ziv

Here is Likai replied to your quastion,
Likai: The fluid is ATF (automatic transmission fluid).
Disconnect all tubes then bath cylinders in a cup of ATF and stroke them till there is no bubbles out of nipples and keep one cylinder in shortest length and the other in longest length. Fill tubes full of fluid then connect them back to cylinders, it's done.
