Default Aircraft owner info needed!

Greetings all!

I'd be most grateful if someone could remind me who the owner/pilots of the following two jets are. Just the names is fine.

Much thanks,
...jim

David, are you sure? That name does not ring a bell, I seem to remember a foreign name, Germanic or Austrian sounding. Forgot to mention, this was at Jets Over Kentucky this year.

Thanks,

I know Gotz Vogelsang has one in that scheme, but I can't remember if he had his at Kentucky Jets.

In the attached picture, The gentleman sitting under the stab of the plane, is the onwer that was building this one at Kentucky Jets. They worked on it all week and flew it later in the week. But I can't recall his name.

Yep, I'm sure. He brought it to BITW. It may have belonged to Goetz Vogelsang previously, I don't know the history.

Ok, so Mike Sars owns the F-15. Great, thanks for that.

Question still remains, who's Hawk flew? Was it Lawrence, or Goetz? I shot video of the Hawk and really would like to properly credit the owner.

Thanks,
...jim

The one that flew at JOK belongs to Goetz Vogelsang.

Lawrence Also flew his hawk at Kentucky. Maybe both of them flew?

Lawrence was next to me in the tent and I remember him having a battery fire in the nose while charging and he worked his butt off to get it back in the air.

If the turbine sounds strange in the video, it is Lawerance's Hawk. If it sounds normal, it is Goetz's. Lawerance's Hawk sounded like the exhaust tube was at wrong distance from the turbine.

The Hawk I took video of has a significant high pitched whine at high throttle settings. It also flew with the landing gear extended for the entire flight. Does that confirm that it belongs to Lawrence?

Thanks,
...jim

Tell ya one thing, if I would have known retirement was this good, I would have retired the day I got out of high school. What you need to do now Jim is move to the sun belt area or Texas. I not a Texan but I got here as fast as could. From the Pittsburgh area originally. Left there in 1960 and haven't looked back. I guess it's OK to take this thread off topic since you got your answer.

Thanks for the correction on Mike's last name.

Got another one... Who is the owner/pilot of this fine F-14 seen at Georgia Jets? I know him and have talked to him, but danged if I can remember his name. I do believe it was originally EDF powered, then converted to twin turbine.

Thanks,
...jim

Both flew at ky, I could not believe how loud the one was that was flown by L
If I get another f-15 it will be that version it flew so nice and had great low speed handling.
