Default GR180 Turbine drawings

Hi all, a member of the dutch forum community pointed me to the following link:
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/W-20-...177444286.html

Some of you here know me, some don't but the engine in this link is my own design GR180 (Gerald Rutten ) engine and allready for a while completely free to download on my own site.

Don't fall into this trap, the company in the link above has the guts to ask $88,44 for my drawings!!!
I'm not member of very much forum's, please spread the word, tnx!

Here a link to my freeware; http://members.tele2.nl/geraldensuzanne/turbines.htm

Many thanks!

Best regards,
Gerald

Hello, Gerald.
This is incredible.!!
I have to say to people that I followed in the GTBA forum the day to day hard work that Gerald made developing this engine, he made a great work, he offered the drawings for free, and now an unscrupulous person wants to make profit using their drawings and their pics...

Tnx for the comment guys!

Indeed Felix, there's not very much I can do probably. There are some laws concerning publication rights and stuff but the adresse has probably many back doors to hide and will cost me a fortune to follow-up, not worth it. I can only try to let as much people as possible know about this so they don't buy the set of drawings.

Best regards,
Gerald

That's very nice, Gerald!
The GR180 and 130 has been around for some time, are they ok as is, or have you made modifications since the drawings were made?

Regards

Greetings,
Do you have any plans on releasing your drawings for the GR220? I would like to get back to home built engines rather than be at the mercy of production engines, any little thing goes wrong and you have to send them in. The 220 would be a perfect fit for my new project.
Thanks,Scott

Gerald is very busy with work AFAIK. The 220 is a work in progress and not quite ready yet. Whether he will release plans I do not know. But his work is legendary.

Work on GR220 is progressing very slowly now, other priorities in life at the moment. The engine had a few runs now but did not perform as I hoped for. I only reached 210N thrust with cool temperatures, I need a bigger compressor and the search is on. My goal is to reach at least 220N, possibly going for 250N which this compressor is not able to deliver. Had a rear bearing seizure few weeks ago with lots of damage which stopped testing. All repaired now and ready for next run, still with old compressor though. No promises for drawings very soon, can't release anything until I'm sure it's safe and ready and with required power.

I indeed use Gaspar Espiels Fadec from Xicoy which is in my opinion absolutely the best.

Here some pic's until now

Only reason i purchased it to learn about it and follow your shoes. Make my own.
So whenever you share any info or pic, I go through it very meticulously. Read your old responses again & again to comprehend.
Aiming for a GR180. There are some drawing like burner/vaporizer ring details which are not there on your website. I know you are busy but It would be great if you help a bit through this journey.

There are tonnes of photos that you have uploaded which is helping a lot. Can you make a assembly or dis-assembly video for GR 180? . That would be really great.

Hi Gerald ,
first I want to thank you for the plans it`s a really good move.
second I want to ask you about a compressor wheel that can replace the "Schwitzer 316954" because it`s really hard to be found even on the websites , if there is a garrett compressor wheel can replace it without changing the other parts , it would be much easier to be found at any car maintenance center.
thank you.
