The BARKS Club, based out of beautiful ElkHills Buttonwillow airport, is pleased to announce it's third annual Spring Fling Jet Rally/ Membership Open House. The dates are set for March 28-30.

Pilot fee will be $40, collected at the field, and will include 2014 club membership!

Flight line control will be handled by the same "Dream Team" crew utilized by BITW!

Thanks David. I want to take a look at them before I get into that hobby. I've been thinking about it for a while now. Initially the F-22 was what I was interested in. I may go with an F-4 Phantom though since that's my most favorite bird dating back to my good old Midway days

I met a turbine pilot at where I fly glow planes by the name of Dantley back in early '13. He mentioned Buttonwiillow as to where he and others fly turbines. I'm interested to check it out this year.

I'm sure you'll see both. You can get some feedback from the owners and make your decision. Introduce yourself when you arrive and I'll show you around.

Dantley has a new F-4 he's prepping now. Hopefully he will be in attendance

I'm going to be passing through on the 28th when I go down to San Diego to meet Shaun Evans to maiden and pick up my Yellow Aircraft F-16. What time will flying start on Friday?
