I drive through Saint Maries ID often and I have seen this F-100 many times from the highway. Each time though I noticed it was moved so I knew something was up with its base. Today I drove into the airport and walked up close to check it out. This has to be the COOOLEST weathervane EVER! Its so stable and well balanced it will move in this light breeze.

I took some photos with my lame iPhone camera but I plan to come back and get better shots with my 7D. Anyone looking for a particular detail underneath? This plane is very clean and well preserved for sitting out here all the time.
