I've been flying a Nano ever since they were released in UK, using an older Wren 44 Gold which I upgraded to kero start. The flying is a tad rough, and had to take place in an area no longer than about 200 yards either side of centre due to space restrictions, but this video indicates why I see no reason for fitting a more powerful turbine. The cameraman did a great job in the circumstances, given that the jet had to continually change direction every few seconds.

Fuel tank is 40oz (1200ml) and I get an easy 7 mins aerobatics. I've recently fitted a Spekky ASI. On the level it does about 125mph. In a flat out dive from 1500ft it maxes at about 150mph.
My alternative flying site was a mown grass strip which was quite rough, but my Nano blasted off of it with no problems at all.
The reason I say "was" is that I've recently moved house so will be flying from another field at my new location. A grass strip will be the only local option, but will cause my Nano no probs.

Thanks again everybody for your replies.
Jetflyer3000, I totally agree with you. The trend of overpowering is true for IC planes too.
That is the reason I want to use my VT80 in a different Jet. I probably should have bought the Boomerang Sprint instead of the Nano but I liked the compactness of the plane.
