My other thread seems to have gone south since I tried to drag and drop a photo so I'm starting a new one. OOPS
Anyway, just wondering what people do with the pipe that hangs out of the Scorpion. I've read a few places that it can cause problems with heat. Is there a tailcone I can buy? Do I need to worry about it? Can I cut it off?

Dale,
indeed, it misses the tailcone............. It will also center and support your tailpipe.......... get back to your dealer, he'll be able to help you out....anyway, in general AD is very helpful and quick in supplying parts.... I broke an elevator after a flameout and outside landing, and had the replacement within a week.....
I'm running a Booster 160 in mine now, and had to move the pipe back. it now portrudes about 5mm out of the tailcone. no problems on cooling whatsoever. I do notice the airbrake gets blown open a bit on high speed passes. has to do with the big intakes, and air not getting out of the fuse....
