Default Red Leader Composites

Just wondering if anyone has been in touch with Chris from RLC recently, Id been keeping an eye on the Tempest that he had in development, Id been in touch with him around 6 months ago asking about the progress of the design, back at that point it he was just about to finish the Plug. I noticed that he'd also sold his Euro Fighter Moulds but just assumed he was no longer making that particular airframe. Does anyone have any contact details for Chris?? Im interested to see if he still has the Plug / Moulds for the Tempest.

Thanks

Jame

Jame

I'll contact him, not spoken to him for a few months, he was still working on it, but the proper job he has now meant he was busy

Thanks Dave, its much appreciated, the main reason for the interest is just incase Chris was planning on selling the Moulds on at some point, we've been toying with the idea of designing some sort of Sport Jet airframe for a while, my Dad did quite alot of composite work around 15 years ago back when Jim Fox lived fairly local to us, one of his best projects was scratch built a 90" Composite P51 but he'd also had a play with some Aerobatic Airframes as well. After having a go at some Vac Bagging the other day, on my UF tank as it happens (just a couple of bands to strengthen the area around the baffle), we both fancied trying to make a new airframe, I then remembered Chris' project and just wondered if he'd be interested in selling the moulds if he wasn't planning on finishing the project himself of course.

Thanks

J

OK, I'll call him tomorrow. You can always buy the Tazor moulds and repair them! Seems a screw driver is not the way to separate halves ;-)

Thanks Dave, thats definitely an option although I'm not really a fan of the twin-boomed jets but I'll definitely give it some thought Sounds like someone's had a bit of a nightmare with them.......plus Im guessing Colin wouldn't be too pleased if I were rock up with a Yorkshire version of the Exige

It was Colin who hammer timed them and you'd be buying them from...so it would be fine!

Ohhhhh I see Ive sent him a quick message on the off chance that he want rid of them the old man mentioned a twin boomed affair, I'm more suited to the Ultra Flash style of jet but that must be an age thing Im just hoping Chris is interested so we end up with both
