its been a while since I posted any low level stuff, not really been out in the mountains much of late, but had two recent trips to the Mach Loop in North Wales, was well chuffed to at long last get the Red Arrows low level, been trying for years but kept missing the day, so to get them this year with a special painted tails was a bonus, they all came through as singles, all out effort was made to get them as I was in place on the mountain at 08:00 and only 11 hours earlier I was in Tromso Norway, as luck would have it I was due home the night before, but it was a mad dash from gatwick Airport to North Wales.
was great also that it was the first time in ages I'd seen American Eagles out playing low level always an impressive sight, highlight of the day though was the dogfight above us by and F15 and Typhoon, sorry guys the female Typhoon pilot seriously whooped ass.
Special mention also to Rebel 87, 41 Squadron Tornado low fast swept and loud way to go !!!!
