Mario
I use 1 retract valve to lower and raise my gear. Another to open and close the doors. They are all connected together with t's and tubing. I am sure your way will work but it's a lot more money. BTW i use a sequencer also and system is flawless. Good luck.

Why use three valves for the retracts when one will do the job?

Three words "Down and Lock" I just my Skygate Hawk 1.35 gear back and installed them. I love it. They work perfect. servos on the doors. If and when they come up with a good electric brake system I am going buy it.

I have electric gear on my 1/5 p-51 and love them. Flown it for over a year and not a single problem.

Mario

I guess you had a bad experence. Maybe when they started out. I hate that. I have the Robart set up in my p-51 that was built by D&L. We have 3 other 80inch Jugs on the field with the same setup. In fact one of the first jugs with Robort that failed Mitch replace the parts and service them at no cost.

Maybe you can find a electric set up that will work.

Here is a video of my new Skygate Hawk that I hope to maiden soon. I have seen a couple of other do well with this set up.
