Absolutely! The airport will be open at all times. The east/west runway 9/27 is the opposing runway just to the north of where we're set up. We'll be flying jets on the north/south runway 18/36.

I have 3 weeks to get it programmed on the DX-18 and find a test pilot!

I cannot imagine a better venue than standing in the middle of 4,003 X 75 feet without any obstructions for a maiden flight + + +

The Litchfield, Illinois Municipal Airport Authority is between St Louis 60 miles, Chicago 250 miles. Indianapolis 210, Kansas City 300.
The facility is within 2 miles of a major interchange (I-55), accommodations a stones throw, Runway 18-36 (4003'X75') closed for General Aviation, unlimited air space, Jet A on site, hanger storage, contiguous to the Mother Road, etc. etc. Our main contact is Jim Wright who is probably the most cooperative and tireless individual you could imagine. All the Local Officials have no problems just solutions... Amazing just Amazing ! ! !

Update: This year we are assuming no restrictions on flying hours, unless we hear otherwise, unlike last year. Of course AMA rules forbid turbine flying after dark.
