If it's nothing else going wrong which is making the pump fail why don't you get a genuine one. I would think it would work out cheaper to just get a genuine one and if that fails with in 8 hours I would think you would be entitled to a refund.

I also had a flight works fuel pump fail. It would stick after sitting more then a few days. turbine wouldn't start.... I would do fuel pump test and it would unstick then work fine rest of the day. Then finaly that didnt work anymore so in order to finish the event I took the pump apart, cleaned the gears and lubed them up some and reinstalled it and it got me by a few more flights then I replaced it.

I use JetCat pumps, not cheap but reliable.

Would anybody be willing to part with his flightworks pump? I'd like to have a closer look.

As for Pumps: check out http://www.ullermann-kleinstfoerdertechnik.com it's just available in german but the pictures and numbers can make you work it out. I run 400s and 480s, and a Faulhaber on a MW54. Very reliable and precice.
