I crawled up in my attic and pulled down a Jet Model Products Starfire IIb kit. I decided to build it for my grandson who thinks he is ready for jets. He may be ready, but grandpa isn't. So I built it with an OS .91VRDF with a JMP System II pipe in a Dynamax fan. I installed some Spring Air retracts I had lying around (from a crashed Yellow Aircraft Starfire...don't ask).

Great aeroplane Gary. I've had 2 0f them and have some shells tucked away in my loft. No worries with the power package. Set up perfectly it is very fast. Enjoy.

Thanks guys.
This was my third JMP Starfire build. I had quite a bit of success with them back in the early to mid '90s. I also have a JMP F-4 Phantom kit with the retracts along with 2 more brand new OS .91s and JMP system II pipes. Just might be my next build.

Sweet!! How'd he do?
What did you use to put down the glass BTW? My favorite was always K&B superpoxy satin clear paint

I heard Klasskote is like superpoxy maybe I will try some satin clear again. I heard the old stuff was reformulated aircraft epoxy paint (to make it 50/50 mix) who knows.
